Protecting the Jewish Character of the Jewish State

"Judaism is the national culture of the Jewish people, has sustained them for thousands of years and gave rise the Zionist movement. The State of Israel has an undeniably Jewish character, which must be fostered rather than suppressed. The Torah, a universally recognized and acclaimed document of moral, legal, and religious principles, is the founding document of the Jewish people and deserves official recognition by the State of Israel as such." (By-Laws of The American Legal Forum for the Land of Israel, Art. I. Sec. 4 (VI) ).
